Although a recent college grad, and still in his early 20s, Multimedia Interactive Software Designer Matthew Wilber has already been making an impressive contribution to the Flash Designers' community for several years. He was involved in production of Visionary Media's WhirlGirl animated cartoon hero series for the web and has designed several interactive games for various wings of the Hearst Publishing Empire. Visionary Media's WhirlGirl series is no longer in production but you can view the complete library of past episodes at their official site … www.whirlgirl.com.

In spite of his young years Matthew Wilber has extensive experience in the fields of Multimedia Presentation, Videography, Photography and Graphic Design. In addition to his vast knowledge of ActionScript, the Flash programming language, Matt has a working knowledge of a number of programming environments including ASP, Visual C++, Basic Java, JavaScript Lingo, CGI development with C++, SQL and of course, HTML.

A long time fan of comedy and parody Matt has worked on several humorous Flash projects in recent years. To view his Flash movie Work@Home, a lighthearted take on what it's like living and working with computers in today's times, click here.

He is currently doing Flash and ASP programming for Hyperion Associates a company which helps Fortune and Global 2000 clients educate their end-users on the enterprise level software used within their organizations. This firm leverages the full power of the Internet for education, training and sharing on an enterprise-wide scale via their customizable e-Learning solutions.

Matthew Wilber continues to keep himself busy, on a freelance basis, with design projects for the web and other media as well.

For our first anniversary celebration Matthew Wilber has taken his exceptional Flash programming and design skills and brought to life, for the enjoyment of TalkingComedy.com readers, a brand new feature on our web site … Laughter IS the Best Medicine, the comedy trivia quiz game. We hope you enjoy this fun new addition to the site and continue to come back for more laughter and excitement with the coming issues.
